If you like Samurai comics like me and you have read Lone Wolf Cub (which I thought was so good - I pretty much stopped reading comics for a while) then you should check out Vagabond. I picked up and put down pretty quickly Blade of the immortal maybe I missed something - will likely go back to it again at some stage. Vagabond is loosely based on the Miyamoto Musashi story who you may or may not know from the The Book of Five Rings fame - I’m told it was popular in the 80’s. Vagabond comes from the prolific Takehiko Inoue not too sure if I will be picking up Slam Dunk anytime soon but I have a chunk (28 volumes and counting) of Vagabond to get through in the meantime…

It’s been a while since the last time I was running in any race. I can just about remember it was a BHAA 10k in Ringaskiddy. But I am tempted to dig out the running shoes again, we have recently been involved in creating RaceDates.ie which is aggregating all of the upcoming race events, triathlons, duathlons, marathons, you-name-it-thons over the coming months and there are some really nice events coming up. RaceDates.ie has already generated alot of interest probably because race organisers can put their event up on the site for free and race goers can sign up and be notified of all the races for the coming year so no more calendar clashes.
